The crowd rose to their feet as Samuel Mora kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomas Carlsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firmo Jurado in the 17th minute of play forced I.T.V. Orea's goalkeeper Tomas Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Firmo Jurado fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eristain CF's protests and gave Firmo Jurado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Firmo Jurado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Zabulón Bajo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. I.T.V. Orea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eristain CF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Eristain CF's Firmo Jurado got a free kick in the 27th minute. Tomas Carlsson made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Samuel Mora sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Firmo Jurado to make the kick off. Tomas Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firmo Jurado, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Mariano Bencoiechea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otero Crespo in the 57th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Teo Ruiz lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Mariano Bencoiechea. A collision led to Eristain CF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Firmo Jurado hit a great ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Firmo Jurado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but I.T.V. Orea's Tomas Carlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Bencoiechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Bencoiechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Ruiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Fabián Cabezas kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Eristain CF's goal looked a bit too open when Otero Crespo came free, but Mariano Bencoiechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
