Isidro Verges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otero Crespo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 6 played minutes I.T.V. Orea got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Solano. 8 minutes into the match, Juan-Luis Cabezas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Carlsson. I.T.V. Orea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan-Luis Cabezas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Isidro Verges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Ruiz in the 11th minute of play. Isidro Verges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonso Bernal went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Telo Fabelo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 24 played minutes I.T.V. Orea got a freekick which was hit by Telo Fabelo. I.T.V. Orea's Tomas Carlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save I.T.V. Orea from getting a goal against them. Isidro Verges came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by I.T.V. Orea's Otero Crespo. But to his dismay, Otero Crespo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Teo Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Isidro Verges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Ruiz in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Verges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Teo Ruiz made a precise shot to the right of Isidro Verges. Mataro Vikings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When I.T.V. Orea's Teo Ruiz in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mataro Vikings's goalie prevented a goal. After 43 minutes of play, I.T.V. Orea's Ibar Ramos made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Verges was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Mataro Vikings players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. I.T.V. Orea were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesaro Abellan to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Cesaro Abellan notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of I.T.V. Orea's Tomas Carlsson. Tomas Carlsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Otero Crespo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Isidro Verges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 63 in the game by Otero Crespo from a close distance when the talented Isidro Verges managed to make a qualified save. Mataro Vikings's players were relieved. Otero Crespo scored 2-5 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidro Verges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesaro Abellan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mataro Vikings's Isidro Verges got control of the ball when Otero Crespo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Otero Crespo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Isidro Verges was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Mataro Vikings getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Tito Lagunas hit a great ball. When I.T.V. Orea's Alonso Bernal in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mataro Vikings's goalie prevented a goal. Isidro Verges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Ruiz's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Orea's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
