Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Flor Nueva kicked off to start the match. Felix Etxeberria charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Etxeberria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4thth minute of the game Flor Nueva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puerto De La Cruz's Natxo De la Torre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Etor Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Velazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Puerto De La Cruz getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Felix Etxeberria hit a great ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Flor Nueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dracos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flor Nueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cresitobalo Antunez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Dracos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cresitobalo Antunez came free, but Roger Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flor Nueva in the 17th minute of play forced Puerto De La Cruz's goalkeeper Natxo De la Torre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Puerto De La Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Solano to maneuver through the defense. Natxo De la Torre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flor Nueva, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute Cresitobalo Antunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Puerto De La Cruz defense, Filiberto Galdamez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natxo De la Torre. The Puerto De La Cruz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natxo De la Torre should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Flor Nueva put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Natxo De la Torre. 38 minutes into the game, Antolin Bartumeu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Roger Velazquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Antolin Bartumeu made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Puerto De La Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Etor Castro. Maurino Alcalde received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger Velazquez came out and tried to block the shot, but Maurino Alcalde slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 57th minute. A collision led to Puerto De La Cruz getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Antolin Bartumeu hit a great ball. Filiberto Galdamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flor Nueva took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natxo De la Torre. Natxo De la Torre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Maurino Alcalde kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Dracos FC's Roger Velazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antolin Bartumeu in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puerto De La Cruz's goalkeeper Natxo De la Torre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roger Velazquez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antolin Bartumeu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-3 in the 81 minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match, Cresitobalo Antunez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roger Velazquez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 90 played minutes Puerto De La Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Paul Solano. The supporters of Puerto De La Cruz booed when Dracos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Galdamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dracos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Puerto De La Cruz had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
