The ball had pretty good speed, but Chinto Palanques firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 20th minute, Jorge Delgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natxo De la Torre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Feliu Prieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natxo De la Torre having to interfere. In the 26th minute Isaac Estruch suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Etor Castro during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Puerto De La Cruz getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Etor Castro hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Puerto De La Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Maurino Alcalde. Antolin Bartumeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Puerto De La Cruz getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Maurino Alcalde hit a great ball. If Feliu Prieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cresitobalo Antunez came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Puerto De La Cruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cresitobalo Antunez couldn't finish the play. Alcorcón Galaxy cf's Chinto Palanques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Alcorcón Galaxy cf from getting a goal against them. After 47 played minutes Alcorcón Galaxy cf got a freekick which was hit by Alvito Comas. Chinto Palanques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antolin Bartumeu in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliu Prieto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Puerto De La Cruz's Etor Castro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute Antolin Bartumeu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chinto Palanques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mergildo Barro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Cresitobalo Antunez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Chinto Palanques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Puerto De La Cruz's Cresitobalo Antunez fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Antolin Bartumeu took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chinto Palanques. Chinto Palanques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Chinto Palanques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antolin Bartumeu in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Antolin Bartumeu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alcorcón Galaxy cf's Chinto Palanques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antolin Bartumeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Chinto Palanques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcorcón Galaxy cf's Chinto Palanques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antolin Bartumeu in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Antolin Bartumeu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alcorcón Galaxy cf's Chinto Palanques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute Antolin Bartumeu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chinto Palanques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cresitobalo Antunez in the 90th minute of play forced Alcorcón Galaxy cf's goalkeeper Chinto Palanques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Alcorcón Galaxy cf's Alvito Comas got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Cresitobalo Antunez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Puerto De La Cruz's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
