The audience was convinced that Bertol Olmos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Sans was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Plus Ultra CF's goal looked a bit too open when Bertol Olmos came free, but Victorino Sans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertol Olmos in the 15th minute of play forced Plus Ultra CF's goalkeeper Victorino Sans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Reina in the 18th minute of play forced Soto Camarena's goalkeeper Iratze Santalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertol Olmos's late challenge caught a Plus Ultra CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertol Olmos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Bertol Olmos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darley Hemsley hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertol Olmos in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Sans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduino Losantos in the 28th minute of play forced Soto Camarena's goalkeeper Iratze Santalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicolás Casillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iratze Santalla came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Plus Ultra CF's Eduino Losantos. But to his dismay, Eduino Losantos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nicolás Casillas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Iratze Santalla made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Nicolás Casillas could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Iratze Santalla however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Griego made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Griego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Sans having to interfere. Rodolfo Griego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Sans made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Bertol Olmos sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Rodolfo Griego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Sans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Plus Ultra CF fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Plus Ultra CF's Eduino Losantos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodolfo Griego was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Soto Camarena's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Plus Ultra CF's Victorino Sans got control of the ball when Bertol Olmos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iratze Santalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduino Losantos in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Rodolfo Griego tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victorino Sans saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rodolfo Griego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Victorino Sans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Sans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertol Olmos in the 84th minute. Victorino Sans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Griego in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertol Olmos got free with Victorino Sans in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Plus Ultra CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Soto Camarena for a fine match.
