Aya Lastras made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Xuan Mondejar sent off a good shot on target. FC ESPAÑA's Aya Lastras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Marines in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes FC ESPAÑA got a freekick which was hit by Alifonso Llorente. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee gave Poponcios CF a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Evaristo Veloso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC ESPAÑA's Aya Lastras. 4-0. Aya Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Marines, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Claudio Rojas kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Poponcios CF fully deserved thier win.
