Falo Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Machado Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ciudad aljarafe getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Miro Casas hit a great ball. With a little luck, Aivory's Machado Zapata got control of the ball when Falo Morales tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falo Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quique Marrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Teruel in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Alejandro Verdeja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aivory's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Verdeja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose-Antonio Goyanes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ciudad aljarafe's zone, Venancio Teruel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quique Marrero came out of the goal and Venancio Teruel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ciudad aljarafe's Quique Marrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Verdeja in the 31st minute of play. Quique Marrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Verdeja in the 36th minute of the match. Falo Morales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Machado Zapata having to make a save. Saul Roig scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quique Marrero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Alejandro Verdeja notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ciudad aljarafe's Quique Marrero. Quique Marrero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Aivory were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fausto Iglesias made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Alejandro Verdeja tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Quique Marrero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the ciudad aljarafe defense, Alejandro Verdeja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quique Marrero. The ciudad aljarafe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quique Marrero should have stopped the shot. Ferrer Abasalo made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ciudad aljarafe's Austin Jorquera. The attack was good, but when Fausto Iglesias in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Falo Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Machado Zapata having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Fausto Iglesias notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Aivory's Machado Zapata. Machado Zapata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the game, ciudad aljarafe's Falo Morales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Machado Zapata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Falo Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Machado Zapata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Iglesias, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Quique Marrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Verdeja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, ciudad aljarafe's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Verdeja came free, but Quique Marrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Falo Morales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ciudad aljarafe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. The supporters of ciudad aljarafe booed when Aivory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Teruel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aivory's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
