Spectators: 7272 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Candon CF's Ramón Griful started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvano Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meder Goyanes in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Candon CF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Carlomagno Nieto hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Candon CF's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Medina came free, but Damian Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Meder Goyanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes in the game, Zarbonin Segarra dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Zarbonin Segarras short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Seve Cortes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Zarbonin Segarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candon CF's Damian Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Medina in the 26th minute of play. Damian Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meder Goyanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Meder Goyanes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PETANCA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Seve Cortes came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Candon CF's Zarbonin Segarra. But to his dismay, Zarbonin Segarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 42nd minute, Meder Goyanes made a precise shot to the right of Damian Abancens. Candon CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 2-2 came through a penalty shot after 47 played minutes, when Candon CF:s Julián Fernandez calmly waited for PETANCA FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Octavio Laredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Abancens having to interfere. When Ramón Griful came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Candon CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Griful couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Ramón Griful shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seve Cortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Zarbonin Segarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seve Cortes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Silvano Medina got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Meder Goyanes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damian Abancens firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Ramón Griful came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Candon CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Griful couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the PETANCA FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Candon CF.
