Cleto Camarasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sancho Cuervas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Cleto Camarasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sancho Cuervas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sancho Cuervas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo Segura in the 13th minute of play. Nikolay Andreevs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Etxatxu Arraz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Davids Club's Etxatxu Arraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Davids Club from getting a goal against them. Braulio Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nikolay Andreev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Etxatxu Arraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nikolay Andreev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Etxatxu Arraz was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Cleto Camarasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sancho Cuervas having to interfere. Nikolay Andreev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nikolay Andreev made the kick off in the second half. Granada cf were furious when Migúel Gibert was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Granada cf:s Sancho Cuervas showed great skill when he stopped Falo Garzon:s penalty. Sancho Cuervas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Falo Garzon went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Nikolay Andreev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Etxatxu Arraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nikolay Andreev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Etxatxu Arraz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Etxatxu Arraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolay Andreev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikolay Andreev in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Etxatxu Arraz saved Davids Club from getting behind. Julio De Silva hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Granada cf's Nikolay Andreev in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Granada cf's Sancho Cuervas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Tobia in the 87th minute of play. Narciso Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Cleto Camarasa came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Davids Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Camarasa couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Nikolay Andreev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Etxatxu Arraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Etxatxu Arraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Mata in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Nikolay Andreev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Braulio Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Granada cf were the better team. Granada cf's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
