Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pelayo Abasalo to make the kick off. Ponce Cacheres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaiet Zaplana having to make a save. Alvino Mayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alvino Mayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Bernabel Alcalde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaiet Zaplana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponce Cacheres in the 72nd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, San Jose De La Rinconada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ponce Cacheres came free, but Kaiet Zaplana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Bastida's late challenge caught a Mecina Tedel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lamberto Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaiet Zaplana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponce Cacheres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the game, one of San Jose De La Rinconada AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mecina Tedel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
