After having played for 12 minutes, Rafa Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEREZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 played minutes Vilafranca got a freekick which was hit by Xorxe Suarez. Ramón Riells was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Bahiano Iniesta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bahiano Iniesta really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Ramón Riells was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mazuste Millán. After a defensive mix-up in Vilafranca's zone, Rafa Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Riells came out of the goal and Rafa Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bahiano Iniesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahiano Iniesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Riells having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafa Romero to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Rafa Romero made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vilafranca's Ramón Riells tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Romualdo Adán hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, PEREZA's Ricardo Castillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramón Riells narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafa Romero ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 played minutes PEREZA got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Infante. Bahiano Iniesta struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ramón Riells didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PEREZA. Ramón Riells showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahiano Iniesta, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ramón Riells didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bahiano Iniesta went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Vilafranca's Xorxe Suarez got a free kick in the 78th minute. Bahiano Iniesta might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramón Riells. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bahiano Iniesta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute of the match Mazuste Millán sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramón Riells skillfully saved the ball. Ramón Riells came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by PEREZA's Bahiano Iniesta. But to his dismay, Bahiano Iniesta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Aurelio Griful hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When PEREZA's Rafa Romero, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for PEREZA. PEREZA's Bahiano Iniesta got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramón Riells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlito Diaz in the 92nd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PEREZA had played much better football throughout.
