After recieving a nice pass, Mirca SD's Santiago Olmedo tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Isandro Radaban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Riells was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vilafranca's Ramón Riells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Armada in the 15th minute of play. When Mirca SD's Ubaldo Armada in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vilafranca's goalie prevented a goal. The Mirca SD fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Mirca SD's Ubaldo Armada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the match, Vilafranca's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Armada came free, but Ramón Riells reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vilafranca's Aurelio Griful got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Isandro Radaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Isandro Radaban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ramón Riells was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mirca SD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santiago Olmedo in the 33rd minute. Isandro Radaban was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Isandro Radaban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Riells having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Griful during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Aurelio Griful hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Isandro Radaban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Riells saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Riells took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Armada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Isandro Radaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Aurelio Griful made the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Armada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xorxe Suarez in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vilafranca's zone, Ubaldo Armada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Riells came out of the goal and Ubaldo Armada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Mirca SD booed when Vilafranca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Menendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mirca SD were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Vilafranca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santiago Olmedo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Mirca SD's corner Santiago Olmedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramón Riells quite easily take care of the ball. Ramón Riells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Sarro in the 72nd minute of the match. Ramón Riells made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isandro Radaban in the 78th minute. Aurelio Griful kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ubaldo Armada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ramón Riells tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Armada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Riells having to interfere. Aurelio Griful recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramón Riells showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Armada, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mirca SD played a much better game than Vilafranca and deserved their victory. The Vilafranca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
