Sebastián Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Ghetto Football's Sebastián Ruiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilio Moreno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, F.C. LYONS's Jose-Juan Pardo got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes, Ghetto Football's Mino Planes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atilio Moreno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ghetto Football reached it. Bitxintxo Feria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atilio Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bitxintxo Feria, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Leocadio Castelao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gení Titos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Ghetto Football's goal looked a bit too open when William Treviño came free, but Gení Titos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ghetto Football's Gení Titos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Treviño in the 45th minute of play. When Leocadio Castelao came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the F.C. LYONS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leocadio Castelao couldn't finish the play. F.C. LYONS's William Treviño got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

William Treviño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gení Titos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Alonso during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Presebal Casta charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Presebal Casta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Leocadio Castelao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play, F.C. LYONS's William Treviño made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gení Titos was left in no man's land by his defense there!
