An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlitos Font in the 4th minute of play forced FC Barnain's goalkeeper Juan Erosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC Barnain defense, Marcio Galdamez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Erosa. The FC Barnain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Erosa should have stopped the shot. San Antolin F.C.'s Ponce Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llanos Marines in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Llanos March was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Antolin F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Barnain the free kick. After a rather tough play, San Antolin F.C.'s Llanos March got a free kick in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hondo Galego got free with Ponce Quijana in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Llanos March hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jusepe Paz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, San Antolin F.C.'s Ponce Quijana got control of the ball when Hondo Galego tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Llanos Marines to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, San Antolin F.C.'s Carlitos Font ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Erosa. Juan Erosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The FC Barnain fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when FC Barnain's Llanos Marines looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlitos Font sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hondo Galego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, FC Barnain's goal looked a bit too open when Carlitos Font came free, but Juan Erosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Antolin F.C.'s Marcio Galdamez got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlitos Font fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Erosa having to interfere. The supporters of San Antolin F.C. booed when FC Barnain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hitzeder Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barnain's zone, Carlitos Font stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Erosa came out of the goal and Carlitos Font tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC Barnain's Juan Erosa got control of the ball when Marcio Galdamez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Erosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Llanos March went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Juan Erosa made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Marcio Galdamez sent off a good shot on target. The San Antolin F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
