When Rutenio Yeste fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Losing Brain Cells's protests and gave Rutenio Yeste a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Rutenio Yeste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Hitz Portillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dalriada Demons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Hitz Portillo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Dalriada Demons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hitz Portillo couldn't finish the play. Benedicto Viqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hitz Portillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Apal Crespo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krisztián Borsos made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Milian Cabada sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the game, Dalriada Demons's Hitz Portillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Viqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nisio Lopez de Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hitz Portillo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Viqueira saved Losing Brain Cells from getting behind. After 42 minutes of play, Dalriada Demons's Hitz Portillo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedicto Viqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Mosen Roman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apal Crespo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Milian Cabada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Mosen Roman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benedicto Viqueira. Mosen Roman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Benedicto Viqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mosen Roman in the 67th minute of the match. If Mosen Roman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Viqueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mosen Roman's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Dalriada Demons:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Losing Brain Cells:s goal. After 78 played minutes Losing Brain Cells got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Rivas. In the 79th minute Mosen Roman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Viqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Losing Brain Cells's goal looked a bit too open when Mosen Roman came free, but Benedicto Viqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hitz Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Nisio Lopez de Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalriada Demons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nisio Lopez de Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Losing Brain Cells fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dalriada Demons were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
