Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Polifemo Diaz started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galsino Mala got free with Dalmacio Pedriza in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lerga's Gitano Camara got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Saturnino Sierra came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Lerga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Sierra couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Lerga's Asier Griego got a free kick in the 12th minute. Fiz Rallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gitano Camara, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Asier Griego fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lerga's protests and gave Asier Griego a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lerga's Asier Griego got a free kick in the 16th minute. Galsino Bermejo charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Galsino Bermejo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlitos Aceves, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Saturnino Sierra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Monzón's Fiz Rallo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Polifemo Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pedriza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Polifemo Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Monzón's supporters rose to their feet, but Polifemo Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Pedriza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atlético Monzón's Galsino Mala got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Polifemo Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Pedriza having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Saturnino Sierra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fiz Rallo. Atlético Monzón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Sierra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Gitano Camara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Sierra to make the kick off. Gitano Camara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Fiz Rallo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Atlético Monzón's Victor Torres got a free kick in the 55th minute. Galsino Mala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lolo Cao kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Carlitos Aceves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Polifemo Diaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fiz Rallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Sierra, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Fiz Rallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Sierra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galsino Mala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dalmacio Pedriza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipo Cienfuegos during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lerga getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Filipo Cienfuegos hit a great ball. Polifemo Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dalmacio Pedriza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
