In the 13th match minute, Nubecitas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Reis to maneuver through the defense. Jesús Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lazaro Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romo Hidalgo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, Jesús Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lazaro Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesús Vidal to make the kick off. Romo Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imanol Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute of the match, Belo Velazquez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lazaro Romero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Nubecitas FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Los Pastores to win.
