In the 22nd minute Aire Ramis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Ulises Adán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraelrio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Adán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Verges was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Cipriano March capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cipriano March really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Atlético de Sagunto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Adán was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano March was the one to do the kick off. Renaldo Dorado's late challenge caught a Miraelrio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renaldo Dorado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Atlético de Sagunto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaldo Dorado to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Verges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano March, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Miraelrio FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
