The wind increased when Zarando Valdés made the kick off in the second half. Fiz Menendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Migúel Bravo in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes SportKansasCity's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zavier Alcantara who took care of the corner kick. Fiz Menendez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 80 minutes into the match, SportKansasCity's goal looked a bit too open when Xerardo Huguet came free, but Fiz Menendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Migúel Bravo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SportKansasCity's Fiz Menendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fiz Menendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Migúel Bravo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
