Ismael Castaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Solustiano Bermejo got free with Ismael Castaño in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Castaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Solustiano Bermejo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Vitoria Futebol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Solustiano Bermejo couldn't finish the play. BlackSoul F.C.'s Ismael Castaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesús Gil in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Solustiano Bermejo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Castaño. BlackSoul F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Solustiano Bermejo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Padro Avila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Pantoja having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perico Soler in the 34th minute of play forced Vitoria Futebol Club's goalkeeper Lazaro Pantoja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Illan Mala might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Castaño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Nadal hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Vitoria Futebol Club's Illan Mala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Castaño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tano Gonzalez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tano Gonzalez in the 52nd minute of play forced Vitoria Futebol Club's goalkeeper Lazaro Pantoja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Vitoria Futebol Club defense, Rafael Sánchez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lazaro Pantoja. The Vitoria Futebol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lazaro Pantoja should have stopped the shot. Solustiano Bermejo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ismael Castaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Antonio Zárate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Antonio Zárate fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitoria Futebol Club's protests and gave Antonio Zárate a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vitoria Futebol Club getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Antonio Zárate hit a great ball. Jesús Gil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Castaño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play.
