Valdo Litago started the match with the kick off. F.C. AVISMU's Julen Aguado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Cortes in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Tiago Helguera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Abancens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Blasi Blazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Helguera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Sandro Abancens made a huge save. If Valdo Litago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Abancens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdo Litago's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes F.C. AVISMU got a freekick which was hit by Luis-Javier Jorquera. After some careless play in the Real Valladolid defense, Tiago Helguera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandro Abancens. The Real Valladolid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandro Abancens should have stopped the shot. Anchel Baños's late challenge caught a Real Valladolid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anchel Baños helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes F.C. AVISMU got a freekick which was hit by Anchel Baños. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Cortes made a kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Gaizka Benito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julen Aguado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Florencio Huerta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blasi Blazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julen Aguado having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Hanot Sampil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Valladolid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. AVISMU the free kick. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Valladolid's goalkeeper Sandro Abancens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julen Aguado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Cortes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Anchel Baños took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sandro Abancens. Real Valladolid's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. F.C. AVISMU's Tiago Helguera got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julen Aguado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Cortes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Valladolid players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F.C. AVISMU.
