The referee ignored Marzoa AD's protests and gave Caton Gonzalez a yellow card for diving instead. Caton Gonzalez kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Marcelo Espinosa came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Marzoa AD's Olayo Iglesias. But to his dismay, Olayo Iglesias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Carlos Alberto Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd play minute Sergi Etxeberria came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcelo Espinosa. 1-4. Marcelo Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Vianna in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Marzoa AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Goldeoro throughout the match.
