In the 8th minute, Naldo Acedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by José Mora from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Olayo Comas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cabanillas FC's Olayo Comas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Zabalo in the 13th minute of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Apolinar Zamora sped through Sante Maria De Trassierra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Mata. Ricardo Mata came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cabanillas FC's Apolinar Zamora. But to his dismay, Apolinar Zamora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Apolinar Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sante Maria De Trassierra's zone, Apolinar Zamora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Mata came out of the goal and Apolinar Zamora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Apolinar Zamora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sante Maria De Trassierra's Ricardo Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Apolinar Zamora hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When Cabanillas FC's Apolinar Zamora in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alberto Turrilla's late challenge caught a Sante Maria De Trassierra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Turrilla helped the player get up and apologised. 55 minutes into the match, Sante Maria De Trassierra's Godfredo Contreras broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Andrei Jareño's late challenge caught a Cabanillas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Marcial Uria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olayo Comas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. During the 69th minute of the match Alberto Turrilla completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alberto Turrilla a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Cabanillas FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alberto Turrilla hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frasco Mas got free with Ricardo Mata in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Apolinar Zamora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Apolinar Zamora recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Mata. Apolinar Zamora showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 81st minute, Cabanillas FC's Apolinar Zamora ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Mata. Ricardo Mata yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. 85 minutes into the match, Cristián Bargas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Mata, 2-5. After having played for 89 minutes, Cristián Bargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabanillas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristián Bargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Sante Maria De Trassierra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristián Bargas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lolo Marrero struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ricardo Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabanillas FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Naldo Acedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabanillas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Acedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cabanillas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
