Anibal Villalcazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anaia Segura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Xamin Acha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anibal Villalcazar, 1-0. Anibal Villalcazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anaia Segura's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Juan Clos took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Anibal Villalcazar to make any attempt to save it. Onofre Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madeo Duarte in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Marlofa AFC's Normando Estrada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Onofre Ortiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Madeo Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Montan De Tost AFC defense, Normando Estrada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Onofre Ortiz. The Montan De Tost AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Onofre Ortiz should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Marlofa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anaia Segura came free, but Anibal Villalcazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derwin Acha hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Madeo Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montan De Tost AFC's Onofre Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Normando Estrada in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Montan De Tost AFC's zone, Normando Estrada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onofre Ortiz came out of the goal and Normando Estrada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Anaia Segura notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Marlofa AFC's Anibal Villalcazar. Anibal Villalcazar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Montan De Tost AFC's Juan Clos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Villalcazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Anaia Segura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montan De Tost AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anaia Segura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Villalcazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Juan Clos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marlofa AFC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Montan De Tost AFC's zone, Normando Estrada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onofre Ortiz came out of the goal and Normando Estrada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Obis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Madeo Duarte's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Onofre Ortiz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Celio Verdaguer hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Normando Estrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Villalcazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Clos, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Juan Clos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Normando Estrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onofre Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Clos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Villalcazar having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montan De Tost AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marlofa AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
