Lano Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ametz Garay, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ametz Garays short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Lano Guerrero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ametz Garay in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lano Guerrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ametz Garay in the 33rd minute of play forced U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs's goalkeeper Lano Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucila Aranzubia struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Lano Guerrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fisterra. When Emilio Montaña came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Fisterra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Montaña couldn't finish the play. Isaias Marcilla's late challenge caught a U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Marcilla helped the player get up and apologised. Fisterra's Javier Vicente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Fisterra from getting a goal against them. If Enrico Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bernabé Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernabé Vega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Vicente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
