To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Olmeda Del Rey CF's Serafín Vallejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belasko Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belasko Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from García Dorado went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerico Mondejar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If García Dorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Monforte De Moyuela's Ciriaco Pabon got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Joaquin Alavedra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. García Dorado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Belasko Lara made a huge save. García Dorado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belasko Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Salgado in the 86th minute. Dani Tobias struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Julen Ramiréz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monforte De Moyuela.
