Mesa Del Mar's Tulio Moya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano De Pedro in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ovando Madariaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tulio Moya. Mesa Del Mar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovando Madariaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Olo Martínez's late challenge caught a Mesa Del Mar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The baronia fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when baronia's Maximiliano De Pedro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Tulio Moya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. With a little luck, Mesa Del Mar's Tulio Moya got control of the ball when Maximiliano De Pedro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Mesa Del Mar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
