In the 13th minute, Gonza Olano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Llorenc Vilanova made a huge save. Casildo Aguilar lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of C. D. Benamargosa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Grriiaauuuu:s goal. Natalio De Pedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Cristiano Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the C. D. Benamargosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Alvarez couldn't finish the play. Fonso Camaños short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Llorenc Vilanova to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristiano Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llorenc Vilanova having to interfere. Llorenc Vilanova made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Alvarez in the 30th minute. Natalio De Pedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Saura, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Llorenc Vilanova dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Saura in the 47th minute of play forced C. D. Benamargosa's goalkeeper Natalio De Pedro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, C. D. D. Benamargosa's Cristiano Alvarez. But to his dismay, Cristiano Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Llorenc Vilanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Grriiaauuuu defense, Imanol Checa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Llorenc Vilanova. The Grriiaauuuu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Llorenc Vilanova should have stopped the shot. After 61 minutes of play, C. D. Benamargosa's Cristiano Alvarez made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Llorenc Vilanova was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cristiano Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ametz Gonzalvez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, C. D. Benamargosa's Cristiano Alvarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Llorenc Vilanova made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After 80 played minutes, C. D. Benamargosa's Hugo Quiroga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Llorenc Vilanova came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. D. Benamargosa reached it. Fonso Camaño scored 7-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Llorenc Vilanova, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristiano Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imanol Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Llorenc Vilanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Imanol Checa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Llorenc Vilanova was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cristiano Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. D. Benamargosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Llorenc Vilanova breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fonso Camaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that C. D. Benamargosa were the better team. C. D. Benamargosa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
