With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nesor Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Paulino Bueno could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Aquiles Harroyo however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute, Luis-Alfredo Fresnos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joey Coya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
