The referee ignored F.C Palencia's protests and gave Alberto Canturri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Iosu Marines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Aberri Sauca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C Palencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torre De Porta Coeli FC the free kick. Anaut Parra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enol Tormes in the 23rd minute of play. If Lobo Soldado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lobo Soldado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nel Orozco having to interfere. After 33 played minutes F.C Palencia got a freekick which was hit by Aberri Sauca. With his leg Nel Orozco managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Torre De Porta Coeli FC's Xabel Fernandez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xabel Fernandez succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Torre De Porta Coeli FC's Orlando Elguero got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Fabricio Canyelles sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Torre De Porta Coeli FC's Anaut Parra didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lobo Soldado made the kick off in the second half. Nel Orozco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lobo Soldado in the 51st minute of the match. Xabel Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Nel Orozco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torre De Porta Coeli FC. After having played for 54 minutes, Lobo Soldado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torre De Porta Coeli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lobo Soldado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torre De Porta Coeli FC's Xabel Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 played minutes F.C Palencia got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Canyelles. Xabel Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Nel Orozco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Torre De Porta Coeli FC's goalkeeper Anaut Parra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Iker Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascal Casas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Anaut Parra made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Pascal Casas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anaut Parra. Torre De Porta Coeli FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascal Casas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Iosu Marines fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience was convinced that Xabel Fernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nel Orozco was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 87th match minute, F.C Palencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosu Marines to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Palencia's zone, Xabel Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nel Orozco came out of the goal and Xabel Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute of the match Valentín Bastida sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nel Orozco skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Pascal Casas sped through Torre De Porta Coeli FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anaut Parra. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
