When Herberto Canal fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Benafer FC's protests and gave Herberto Canal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cogollos Vega AFC booed when Benafer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herberto Canal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fabián Moreno, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 44 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vermudo Teresa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Benafer FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half.
