After 17 played minutes Real Club Fuengirola got a freekick which was hit by Gabon Macías. After 21 played minutes Porriño Industrial F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mino Ucero. Cambranes Caminero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aya Vera, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Viqueira in the 23rd minute of play forced Real Club Fuengirola's goalkeeper Argenis Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Real Club Fuengirola's Enaut Vagrande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 47th minute Aya Vera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cambranes Caminero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aya Vera to strike the kick off in the second half. Argenis Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Viqueira in the 52nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Real Club Fuengirola got a freekick which was hit by Gabon Macías. Real Club Fuengirola's Argenis Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Fuengirola from getting a goal against them. Porriño Industrial F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
