The crowd rose to their feet as Frankfurt 1976's Barlas Talik slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laureano Abellan. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Laureano Abellan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernesto Leon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Vincent Verges charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincent Verges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Frankfurt 1976 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Verges to maneuver through the defense. Barlas Talik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Abellan having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Antequera Fc's goalkeeper Laureano Abellan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barlas Talik. Laureano Abellan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Leon, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Ernesto Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ernesto Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Abellan having to interfere. Ernesto Leon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Abellan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Barlas Talik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Laureano Abellan made a huge save. Laureano Abellan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Leon in the 36th minute of the match. Laureano Abellan came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Frankfurt 1976's Barlas Talik. But to his dismay, Barlas Talik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Loid Gijsbrechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Cambero in the 45th minute of play. 49 minutes into the game, Mariano Acarreta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antequera Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frankfurt 1976 the free kick. The supporters of Frankfurt 1976 booed when Antequera Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Acarreta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Antequera Fc defense, Barlas Talik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Abellan. The Antequera Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Abellan should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlomagno Castellano to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Barlas Talik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Laureano Abellan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laureano Abellan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barlas Talik, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Barlas Talik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Abellan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Guerrero in the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Barlas Talik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Abellan was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Antequera Fc's goalkeeper Laureano Abellan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ernesto Leon struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Laureano Abellan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frankfurt 1976.
