Alcover's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iban Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcial Amorebieta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nereo Galnares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. In the 26th minute, Eustaquio Prieto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rubén Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Tuste Lacorte charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tuste Lacorte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sa Savina AD getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Tuste Lacorte hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sa Savina AD's zone, Iban Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucero Antunez came out of the goal and Iban Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sa Savina AD getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tuste Lacorte hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Euloxu Contratas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucero Antunez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iban Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 62 minute of play. Lucero Antunez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Valdés went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 75th match minute, Sa Savina AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolino Madariaga to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes, Iban Sancho made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Sa Savina AD's Lucero Antunez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Iban Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tuste Lacorte kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Reynaldo Valdés struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lucero Antunez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcover. Lucero Antunez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iban Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alcover players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
