Eloy De Pablo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alvar Zubizarreta in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jairo Santander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Horacio Batuecas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natxo Naranjo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Natxo Naranjo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vaden Sabina. 24 minutes into the match, AGUADULCE FC's Eloy De Pablo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Santander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Horacio Batuecas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to AGUADULCE FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gorosti Dellasierra hit a great ball. Lamb & Flag FC's Gorka Verges couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AGUADULCE FC. 29 minutes into the match, Horacio Batuecas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaden Sabina. AGUADULCE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horacio Batuecas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Natxo Naranjo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natxo Naranjo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Lamb & Flag FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natxo Naranjo to maneuver through the defense. Vaden Sabina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Batuecas in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, AGUADULCE FC's Teodosio Rojas got a free kick in the 35th minute. Eloy De Pablo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Jairo Santander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Natxo Naranjo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vaden Sabina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Horacio Batuecas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vaden Sabina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alvar Zubizarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy De Pablo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy De Pablo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horacio Batuecas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Vaden Sabina 53 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Eloy De Pablo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AGUADULCE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Alvar Zubizarreta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Santander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute, AGUADULCE FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Horacio Batuecas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 70 minutes into the game, Teodosio Rojas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AGUADULCE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lamb & Flag FC the free kick. Teodosio Rojas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Alvar Zubizarreta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Santander having to interfere. If Alvar Zubizarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy De Pablo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jairo Santander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AGUADULCE FC's Alvar Zubizarreta got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
