After 96 played minutes Almàssera got a freekick which was hit by Román Urbieta. 98 minutes in the game, Hegoi Escobar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lluc Veloso having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Las Palmas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Almàssera.
