The Caldas F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Caldas F.C.'s Garibaldo Vacas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 8 minutes, Fe Palanques made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Caldas F.C.'s Andrea Cainzos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Maroto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garibaldo Vacas went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, MOLLERUSA FC's Antxoka Sánchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrea Cainzos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Caldas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Liberto Pastor. Arnaldo Maroto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeru Galnares in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, MOLLERUSA FC's Antxoka Sánchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrea Cainzos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Caldas F.C. booed when MOLLERUSA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Cainzos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MOLLERUSA FC's Lazaro Treviño got a free kick in the 38th minute. Antxoka Sánchez charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antxoka Sánchez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 minutes, Nikola Carreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caldas F.C. and the MOLLERUSA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antxoka Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes MOLLERUSA FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Cainzos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fe Palanques to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Lazaro Treviño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MOLLERUSA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caldas F.C. the free kick. Lazaro Treviño kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Miguel De Pablo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Maroto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Caldas F.C. booed when MOLLERUSA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Gasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Maroto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garibaldo Vacas in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garibaldo Vacas in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Maroto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the game, Fe Palanques recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andrea Cainzos. Fe Palanques showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Arnaldo Maroto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeru Galnares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Maroto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garibaldo Vacas in the 74th minute of the match. Antxoka Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Cainzos having to interfere. Arnaldo Maroto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garibaldo Vacas, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 82 minutes of play, Caldas F.C.'s Barea Gil made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Maroto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Caldas F.C.'s Nikola Carreira got a free kick in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Barea Gil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Arnaldo Maroto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnaldo Maroto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barea Gil in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute Barea Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Maroto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Maroto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeru Galnares in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caldas F.C. had played much better football throughout.
