FC Lérida's Bastia Cacheres got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Mullidar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Gabas to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cebo Cienfuegos to make the kick off. Frantzes Cuervas might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cordareo Vacas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frantzes Cuervas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cebo Cienfuegos came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mullidar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cebo Cienfuegos couldn't finish the play. Bastia Cacheres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordareo Vacas having to interfere. Mullidar's Cordareo Vacas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frantzes Cuervas in the 61st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Cebo Cienfuegos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC Lérida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mullidar the free kick. The supporters of Mullidar booed when FC Lérida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cutberto Revuelta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mullidar's Baldomero March got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Mullidar's goal looked a bit too open when Bastia Cacheres came free, but Cordareo Vacas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Lérida had played much better football throughout.
