Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaskon Cifuentes in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Ortiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, San Sadurniño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaskon Cifuentes to maneuver through the defense. Bastia Cacheres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in San Sadurniño's zone, Bastia Cacheres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquez Vuelta came out of the goal and Bastia Cacheres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bastia Cacheres came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC Lérida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bastia Cacheres couldn't finish the play. Bastia Cacheres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Marquez Vuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, FC Lérida's goal looked a bit too open when Gaskon Cifuentes came free, but Gaspar Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Lérida booed when San Sadurniño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sanson Montaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaskon Cifuentes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Montxo Justo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lérida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Sadurniño the free kick. A collision led to FC Lérida getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Montxo Justo hit a great ball. Lazcano Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gaspar Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sanson Montaña in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Senen Abellan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaskon Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gaspar Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaskon Cifuentes in the 74th minute of the match. Marquez Vuelta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Verdu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. FC Lérida's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
