The referee ignored AE PRAT's protests and gave Gabi Carrasco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AE PRAT getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gabi Carrasco hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes AE PRAT got a freekick which was hit by Rubén Mangas. In the 9th minute Bastia Cacheres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastia Cacheres, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes of play AE PRAT's Gabi Carrasco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, AE PRAT's Gabi Carrasco got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Firman Laredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Moreno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Amancio March in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AE PRAT's Cruz Saavedra. Gaspar Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Joanes Benito sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastia Cacheres, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bastia Cacheres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Moreno having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adulfo Benito during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AE PRAT getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Adulfo Benito hit a great ball. Firman Laredo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Frantzes Cuervas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Frantzes Cuervas made the kick off in the second half. Michael Bencoiechea charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Bencoiechea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Michael Bencoiechea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Frantzes Cuervas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adulfo Benito got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Michael Bencoiechea. The supporters of FC Lérida booed when AE PRAT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Bencoiechea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Moreno acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ramón Verdu. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Bastia Cacheres managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lérida's supporters rose to their feet, but Bastia Cacheres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AE PRAT's Oscar Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save AE PRAT from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC Lérida booed when AE PRAT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Bencoiechea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Bastia Cacheres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oscar Moreno. Bastia Cacheres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Oscar Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastia Cacheres in the 77th minute of play. If Ramón Verdu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in AE PRAT's zone, Ramón Verdu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Moreno came out of the goal and Ramón Verdu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, AE PRAT's Edmundo Mayor got a free kick in the 89th minute. Gaspar Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cruz Saavedra's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 94th match minute, AE PRAT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Bencoiechea to maneuver through the defense. When Frantzes Cuervas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC Lérida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frantzes Cuervas couldn't finish the play.
