Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5843, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rolando Maura got the match started through his kick off. After 7 played minutes Adobes UD got a freekick which was hit by Jose-Enrique Aceves. Rolando Maura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erlantz Quevedo having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Adobes UD got a freekick which was hit by Jose-Enrique Aceves. The supporters of Adobes UD booed when Vilar CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Maura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Totò Van Bastén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erlantz Quevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Vilar CF's Totò Van Bastén made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erlantz Quevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Neto Erosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Maura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erlantz Quevedo having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, one of Vilar CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vilar CF. Toribio Gutierrez shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Totò Van Bastén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilar CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Totò Van Bastén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbasa Moreno struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Erlantz Quevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilar CF. 46 minutes into the match, Adobes UD's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Maura came free, but Erlantz Quevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adobes UD's Erlantz Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Maura in the 47th minute of play. The Adobes UD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vilar CF were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aparicio Jaraba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Vilar CF got a corner. Adobes UD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Domenech Montiel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Vilar CF booed when Adobes UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falo Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rolando Maura came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Vilar CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Maura couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Totò Van Bastén reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erlantz Quevedo. The goal made the score 0-2. Vilar CF's Rey Moya was substituted for Totò Van Bastén. A hard shot 72 in the game by Rolando Maura from a close distance when the talented Erlantz Quevedo managed to make a qualified save. Adobes UD's players were relieved. After having played for 73 minutes, Rey Moya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilar CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rey Moya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adobes UD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Rey Moya scored to the left of an out of position Erlantz Quevedo, making the score, 0-3. Erlantz Quevedo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. After 84 played minutes Vilar CF got a freekick which was hit by Jacques Garay. 87 minutes into the match, Vilar CF's goal looked a bit too open when Falo Ortiz came free, but Herauso Crespo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erlantz Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Moya in the 88th minute of play. Rey Moya might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erlantz Quevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rey Moya ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute of the match Toribio Gutierrez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herauso Crespo skillfully saved the ball. When the match was over Vilar CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Adobes UD throughout the match.
