Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santana Casado in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Sengrat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cali FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after UD Tomasso LPGC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valery Palacios took the corner.
