The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Petronio Checa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute of the match, Petronio Checa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Airas Orozco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gai Sevilla kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Florencio Teruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rosario Central's Petronio Checa in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RCTTViL's goalie prevented a goal. RCTTViL's Airas Orozco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petronio Checa in the 24th minute of play. Petronio Checa had several of the RCTTViL's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Airas Orozco as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petronio Checa in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Airas Orozco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Petronio Checa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Airas Orozco. RCTTViL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petronio Checa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Petronio Checa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Airas Orozco, 3-0. When Rosario Central's Petronio Checa in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RCTTViL's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petronio Checa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petronio Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petronio Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Airas Orozco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, RCTTViL's goal looked a bit too open when Petronio Checa came free, but Airas Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joseba Romero during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gai Sevilla hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Petronio Checa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Airas Orozco was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, RCTTViL's goal looked a bit too open when Petronio Checa came free, but Airas Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Labarra kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rosario Central had won after a very even match.
