The referee showed Selmo Planes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Lancelot Japón got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. John Aguado's late challenge caught a Paella F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Aguado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Luzaga's John Aguado got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, Paella F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaztea Tobia to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Urdin Abancens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paella F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luzaga the free kick. A collision led to Paella F.C getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Urdin Abancens hit a great ball. Mergildo Aguado struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Veremundo Hidalgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The referee gave Urdin Abancens a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Luzaga booed when Paella F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urdin Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Mergildo Aguado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
