Paella F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Portillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute Lancelot Japón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odon Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enoteca F.C.'s Austin Morales got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateo Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Odon Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Portillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Enoteca F.C.'s zone, Lancelot Japón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odon Alonso came out of the goal and Lancelot Japón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Lancelot Japón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odon Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odon Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lancelot Japón, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Enoteca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Portillo came free, but Odon Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lancelot Japón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Odon Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Austin Morales to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Mateo Portillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paella F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Portillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odon Alonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Austin Morales in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veremundo Hidalgo saved Paella F.C from getting behind. Lancelot Japón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Odon Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Paella F.C defense, Manuel Andres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Veremundo Hidalgo. The Paella F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veremundo Hidalgo should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Andres in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veremundo Hidalgo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Odon Alonso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Portillo's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Odon Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urdin Abancens in the 87th minute of play. Lancelot Japón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Odon Alonso made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Urdin Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austin Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Veremundo Hidalgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odon Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Portillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of Paella F.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paella F.C may have spent more time on the ball, but Enoteca F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
