In the 8th minute of the match, Geleberto Fuente tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Taurino Bellido saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. La Palma Debre CD's Alonso Serrano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Pascual in the 13th minute of play. La Palma Debre CD's Geleberto Fuente got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geleberto Fuente in the 18th minute of play forced Shelfester United's goalkeeper Taurino Bellido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eligio Vives could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Taurino Bellido made a huge save. Lano Serena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mambru Gimenez during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes La Palma Debre CD got a freekick which was hit by Mambru Gimenez. 30 minutes into the match, Shelfester United's goalkeeper Taurino Bellido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eligio Vives. Mambru Gimenez got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to La Palma Debre CD getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mambru Gimenez hit a great ball. Alonso Serrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolás Echavarri's late challenge caught a La Palma Debre CD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolás Echavarri helped the player get up and apologised. Alonso Serrano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Pascual, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Alonso Serrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Eligio Vives notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Shelfester United's Taurino Bellido. Taurino Bellido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Shelfester United's Taurino Bellido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eligio Vives in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in La Palma Debre CD's zone, Martín Pascual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonso Serrano came out of the goal and Martín Pascual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Martín Pascual managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shelfester United's supporters rose to their feet, but Martín Pascual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonso Serrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Eligio Vives notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Shelfester United's Taurino Bellido. Taurino Bellido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Jacobo Goyanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Shelfester United's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Shelfester United may have spent more time on the ball, but La Palma Debre CD were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
