After 18 minutes of play, La Palma Debre CD's Geleberto Fuente made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolás Labarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tadeo Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Serrano having to interfere. Alonso Serrano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristeo Camacho's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. A collision led to Ribadesella getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tadeo Dominguez hit a great ball. Luis Acedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolás Labarra. Ribadesella's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nicolás Labarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geleberto Fuente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Dominguez took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonso Serrano. Alonso Serrano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Geleberto Fuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nicolás Labarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Ribadesella's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eligio Vives fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Ribadesella's Nicolás Labarra got control of the ball when Eligio Vives tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolás Labarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 71 minutes into the match, Aristeo Camacho notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of La Palma Debre CD's Alonso Serrano. Alonso Serrano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alonso Serrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Dominguez in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Nicanor Aballe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ribadesella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Palma Debre CD the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Ribadesella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Aballe to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Aitor Hevia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eligio Vives had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ribadesella's zone, Eligio Vives stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás Labarra came out of the goal and Eligio Vives tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eligio Vives got free with Nicolás Labarra in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Goyanes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. La Palma Debre CD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
