Sporting de Veles's David Echavarri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geleberto Fuente in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Aitor Hevia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sporting de Veles's Aloisio Camaño quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. La Palma Debre CD were furious when Gonza Casero was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Sporting de Veles a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lope Huguet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Palma Debre CD's Alonso Serrano. 3-1. In the 35th minute, Sporting de Veles's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eligio Vives fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 36 minutes into the game, Aloisio Camaño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting de Veles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Palma Debre CD the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Hevia made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Amancio Hevia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alonso Serrano. That made the score 3-2 in the 56 minute of play. After 60 played minutes La Palma Debre CD got a freekick which was hit by Javier Cifuentes. David Echavarri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eligio Vives in the 63rd minute of play. A wasted opportunity for La Palma Debre CD. 67 minutes into the match, Eligio Vives notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Sporting de Veles's David Echavarri. David Echavarri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Sporting de Veles getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mambru Gimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mambru Gimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alonso Serrano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Hevia's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting de Veles players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Palma Debre CD.
