Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Viejo got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Mudarra in the 3rd minute of play forced Oñon's goalkeeper Luis-Antonio Ramis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Orihuela CF's Herminio Mudarra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis-Antonio Ramis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Imanol Radaban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oñon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orihuela CF the free kick. After 16 played minutes Oñon got a freekick which was hit by Dei Domingo. It was beautiful to see Orihuela CF's Reyes Muelas in action when he in the 17th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Elazar Patiño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oñon's Luis-Antonio Ramis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Mudarra in the 23rd minute of play. Montay Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Viejo in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elazar Patiño in the 33rd minute of play forced Oñon's goalkeeper Luis-Antonio Ramis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Mudarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis-Antonio Ramis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elazar Patiño in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis-Antonio Ramis saved Oñon from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Orihuela CF's Herminio Mudarra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis-Antonio Ramis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half Orihuela CF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Luis-Antonio Ramis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Orihuela CF's Elazar Patiño shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Orihuela CF's Leonides Ramis got a free kick in the 54th minute. Natalio Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Oñon's goalkeeper Luis-Antonio Ramis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elazar Patiño. Herminio Mudarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis-Antonio Ramis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Mudarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orihuela CF's Herminio Mudarra got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Oñon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elazar Patiño fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 65 minutes into the game, Herminio Mudarra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis-Antonio Ramis. Herminio Mudarra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Elazar Patiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis-Antonio Ramis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elazar Patiño went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Leonides Ramis kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Orihuela CF's zone, Natalio Quintana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montay Prats came out of the goal and Natalio Quintana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montay Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Quintana in the 77th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Herminio Mudarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oñon's Luis-Antonio Ramis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Herminio Mudarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orihuela CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Mudarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis-Antonio Ramis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Mudarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis-Antonio Ramis made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Elazar Patiño sent off a good shot on target. Herminio Mudarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orihuela CF's Elazar Patiño got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Herminio Mudarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis-Antonio Ramis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oñon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Herminio Mudarra scored to the left of an out of position Luis-Antonio Ramis, making the score, 1-6. The Oñon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Orihuela CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
