Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moisés Justo started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Eligio Vives was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Palma Debre CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RCDE the free kick. After 2 played minutes La Palma Debre CD got a freekick which was hit by Eligio Vives. 7 minutes into the match, Anacleto Leseduarte notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Palma Debre CD's Alonso Serrano. Alonso Serrano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th match minute, La Palma Debre CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Goyanes to maneuver through the defense. RCDE's Moisés Justo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Eduardo Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. RCDE's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonso Serrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, La Palma Debre CD's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Justo came free, but Alonso Serrano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonso Serrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Leseduarte in the 29th minute of the match. If Moisés Justo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When RCDE's Gabi Colillas in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Palma Debre CD's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, RCDE's Gabi Colillas got a free kick in the 38th minute. Michael Camacho made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Mambru Gimenez sent off a good shot on target. Alonso Serrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Moisés Justo in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geleberto Fuente to make the kick off. Anacleto Leseduarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes of play, RCDE's Eduardo Costa made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonso Serrano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Eduardo Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonso Serrano was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Anacleto Leseduarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Goyanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Leseduarte succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. 83 minutes into the match, Jacobo Goyanes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Camacho. RCDE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Goyanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Michael Camacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geleberto Fuente in the 86th minute of play. RCDE's Moisés Justo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabi Colillas in the 94th minute of play forced La Palma Debre CD's goalkeeper Alonso Serrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Moisés Justo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded RCDE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Palma Debre CD.
